Painting tests showed that the grayboard retained its color even when directly applied with acrylic paint. The laser-cut MDF suffered from uneven color due to burn marks. Therefore, paint the gesso first to make layer on the MDF before acrylic paint was applied. Putty was applied to the foam to create a lunar surface texture. The base MDF was spray-coated, and the foam was finished with acrylic. The 3D-printed model was then finished with spray painting.
